Charles Curtis, MW, Head of North American Wine Sales, comments:

“Our spring sale season wrapped up on a positive note this weekend, with strong results for all three private collections featured in this sale and for selections from the cellars of Le Paradou restaurant in Washington D.C., which was 95% sold by lot. Pétrus drew the top prices of the day, along with mature vintages of Lafite, Romanée-Conti, Montrachet, and the California stand-out Harlan Estate. American and Asian collectors were a strong presence in the saleroom, with 21% of lots sold or directly underbid by clients online using Christie’s LIVE™.”
